Psalm 118:17

I will not die, but live, and will proclaim what the Lord has done.

I'm finally home and it has been a long day. But, we got some good news for a change. The CT scan of my brain came out good. Nothing was there. The type of cancer I have likes to go to the brain. My Dad told my sisters that he knew that it would come back negative because my brain is way too stubborn for cancer to even try it there. Ha! Ha! You have to try and find some humor and laugh or you'll just cry all the time. The bone scan said that there is a hot spot in my sternum that corolates with the PET scan, but it doesn't say that it is or isn't cancer. Could be trauma to my sternum. It also does not show anything in my ribs. Dr. McKeen is going to speak to the radiologist and discuss the results. So, I will remain to be positive about my sternum and continue to pray that the Lord has healed me. And, I am overjoyed that it is not showing anything in my ribs. We can cross that off my list! I also had my lymph nodes biopsied under my right arm, which is the original cancer side. We will hopefully have results on those tomorrow.
All in all a long and exhausting day, but a good day. I will keep my eyes on the Lord and trust him for pending results.

  3. Kelly girl- know that we are praying for you and yours. Just remember that God's last act of faithfulness was NOT His last act of faithfulness(one of my favorite things to hold on to). Praying for all the grace, wisdom ,healing and strength you need to walk through this. Believing with you that no weapon formed against you will prosper and all those who rise up against you will fall.
    Hugs and prayers.

  4. So glad the Dr. wanted more detail before setting up treatment. A second opinion is good to confirm or redirect findings & treatment. Miss called this a.m. to check out your updates & said you wished you could talk to Tam. She was very proactive as to what was going on & what was planned. She did not want to go any where else either, but sometimes other places can get more done with different modalities in a quicker time frame. Sometimes the opposite is true. So we are praying that the Lord will open up the way that He wants you to go. The armor of God is great because it is a battle from the beginning. You have God's resources at every step of the way. All He is, He is for you. Heb.13:8. Psalm 91:1-6. Tons of love to you, Ian and the children. Aunt Dee & Uncle Bill

  8. I find that trust can be one of the difficult endeavors for me...sometimes we live in "what if" but God wants us to live in the "never-the-less. With that in mind the bible says in Isaiah 26:3.."You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in You." The grace of God will hold you as the peace of God will sustain you. Fight the good fight Kelly, you are winning.
