Psalm 118:17

I will not die, but live, and will proclaim what the Lord has done.

It has been an eventful weekend. Dr. McKeen made a house visit Friday evening and told me that there is not much else that they can do medically for me. This chemo that I had talked about previously is still an option. I need to stop vomiting though. She has called in hospice at this time to help with the pain management and nausea/vomiting symptoms. By Saturday, they were here and got me all set up. They deliver the meds to my door and they go through their pharmacy. Today, I met the doctor and the nurse that is assigned to my case. I was very pleased with both of them. It has just been a whirlwind of people in and out of my house, which is very exhausting. Needless to say, I vomited yesterday around 10:30am and have not thrown up since. I was also able to go trick or treating with my kids. Ian pushed me around in a wheel chair, but I felt good and enjoyed being with my kids.
Meanwhile, on Friday, a friend of ours and my cousin wanted to know if they could come pray outside my house. I was so excited and said of course. What started out as a hand full of people, turned into a crowd of close to 300 people. This many people, praying, singing praise songs and lighting a candle in my front yard. I sat on the couch listening to the music as they sang. When it was silent, Ian and I would pray together from inside. I am believing that I am healed. I will claim that as of November 1, 2010, I have been healed in Jesus' name! Thank you all who stood in the gap for me tonight and for those of you who did so at your own homes and across the world. You will never know how much this has meant to me. The Bible tells us that when 2 or more are gathered and ask in Jesus Name, it will be done! Those are powerful words, but I am believing them!

  1. Kelly,
Last night was an awesome and moving night. The number of people that turned out is a true testimony of the number of lives you have impacted. It was a privilege and an honor to be there. I am so glad you are getting some assistance from Hospice, they can help you get stronger. We are praying for your complete healing, your faith in our God is inspiring. We love you.

  2. Kelly...I know you could not hear all of the words that were spoken last night but it was truly a testimony to an incredible faith! I pray that you are indeed healed. Whatever the outcome, you are safely nestled in God's arms and He will not leave you nor forsake you. Through this blog and through your journey, you have brought us all on our own journey with our faith. Many have struggled greatly but you have touched our hearts and souls in a way that will change us forever. We love you more than you can ever imagine!! It is well with my soul...

  3. We were praying in Sebring last night and knew that there were a choir of voices praying all at the same time. We love you and will continue to lift you up in prayer and believe!

  4. Kelly,
Last night was powerful... for me, for the Loveland family, for your friends and I hope for you, too. God impressed so much on my heart last week that we needed to move beyond our own homes and come to you. To meet you - right where you're at - and ask our Mighty God for YOUR miracle. Never could I have imagined all those twinkling lights in your yard - It was beautiful.
No matter what happens in the future - I fully trust you are in capable hands with the Father. Your journey in this has touched me in a way that words cannot describe.
I am still praying for your complete healing. I love you!

  5. Kelly - I am praying, praying, praying along with my family. You are never far from my thoughts. God is in the healing business so I am believing with you that you are healed. Prayed this morning for your comfort and peace today and in the days to come.

  6. Kelly,

You do not know me, but in a very out-of-the way, round about way, from connections of years past, I was sent the link to your blog several months ago and have been checking on you and praying for you. I am praying for complete healing and no matter the outcome, that you and your family will feel the love and will of God during this time. Praying for your strength and comfort.

    In Christ-

  12. An excerpt from Beth Moore Bible study Breaking Free: "She rested her slight weight and stared at the stars out the window...She smiled and voice a good night prayer to the Savior she had loved since childhood. She didn't say much. "Thank you Jesus. Thank you." Almost before she could close her eyes, deep sleep overtook her. Suddenly, her slumber was startled by the most beautiful voice she had ever heard, coming from a man standing over her. "Arise my darling, my beautiful one, and come with me. See! The winter is past, the rains are over and gone...the season of singing has come."
Good bye Kelly, thank you for letting me be a part of your life. I will be praying for your family. See you soon. Love, Debbie
