Psalm 118:17

I will not die, but live, and will proclaim what the Lord has done.

Change of plans. Dr. McKeen called this morning and wants me to get a CT of my head and a bone scan before I have the biopsy. She wants a second opinion on my scans before she does anything invasive. She wants to make sure it really is cancer and not something else. Please pray for a miracle today.

  1. I've had this book called Commanding your morning and found this prayer this morning. I wanted to share it with you.
I wear the helmet of salvation to protect my mind from negative thoughts that would derail Your purposes and plans for me.
Truth protects my integrity, righteousness protects my reputation, the gospel of peace guides my every step, the shield of faith secures my future and destiny, and the sword of the Spirit grants me dominion and authority.

  2. We had a review at bible study today and this verse popped out to me.

"Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths" Proverbs 3:5-6

    I LOVE YOU!

  3. Kel..my devotions this AM included Phil.4:

6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

His love and compassion transcends all understanding so I choose to believe that there is much more to this than a diagnosis code. May His peace cover you!! I am overcome with love for you, Ian, Maddie & Parker. Feel the incredible love that surrounds you and listen to God's voice. He will not leave you or forsake you.

  4. Just want to add that I saw a GORGEOUS rainbow this afternoon. I was going east on Northlake and it looked like it ended right in Lake Park on E. Redwood Dr.!! :-) I'll take it as a sign of God's promise to us.
