I will not die, but live, and will proclaim what the Lord has done.

As far as treatment goes, it went well today. I have not gotten sick from the new chemo, which is a blessing. The bad news is that I was so short of breath while I was there. They checked my oxygen level and it was 79. It should be above 90. It was later in the day and they wanted me to go to the hospital and get my lung drained again, but when we called the hospital, it was going to be a long wait. We decided to wait until tomorrow and they ordered oxygen to be delivered at home. I have been so discouraged and have done a lot of crying this afternoon. It has only been a little over a week since I had it drained. I was hoping that it would have lasted longer. I had a difficult time the first time I had it drained and am scared to have it done again. Having oxygen delivered to my house was a low blow. I never thought it would come to this. I guess I have to admit that I am a little angry. When is enough, enough? Please pray for a good night sleep. I am so anxious about tomorrow that it is going to be hard to sleep. And please pray for a miracle!

  1. Hey Kel!!!
Finally I can get a comment on here....I've been keeping up with you !!! And my boyfriend and I also have prayer sessions for you ....so it may travel far but it gets there just as strong!!!
We have been investigating about medicines that might help...the only prob is ...is that it's in spanish!! Just in case you can find info in english about this natural remedy ...it's called BASQÜADE.
It helps with the chemo side effects, it's antitumoral..it's regenrative and immunostimulant.Any way ...I'm going to try to translate it for you.kay?? Youcould ask your doctors about it.
Honey I can't imagine what you are going through and probably my next suggestion might seem like the hardest or maybe even easy to do but...you know how positive thinking can take you far???...imagine yourself healthy and what it felt like....try doing it all day long...maybe when you're feeling pain try to fight it with thoughts of healthiness.Imagine yourself playing with your kids...doing this excersise on a daily basis you might see changes real quick!! VISUALIZE yourself where you want to be ...Add me and my people down here to your list of "cheerleaders"!!!! I love you so very much...my intention is only to help you find EVERYTHING ON THE PLANET POSSIBLE to beat this! I know you will. UN ABRAZO APRETADO... CLAUDIA JIMENEZ

  2. Kelly,
Just wanted to let you know we are praying and thinking of you. I had to tell you my oldest son Joe (15 yrs.old) is at Urban Youth Impact this week helping do a VBS for the kids there. At dinner we were asking him questions and he volunteered that they go around in their individual groups and pray, he said "Mom I prayed for Ms. Kelly today". I don't think I have ever been more proud of him, I got up and walked around and hugged him and kissed his head and said thank you...I'm so proud of you. Kelly I will be praying hard for you today with your lung draining being today...I will ask Joe to specifically pray for you also. We are ALL praying for you Kell.
    Love,
    Debbie
