Psalm 118:17

I will not die, but live, and will proclaim what the Lord has done.

I'm having a hard time keeping my head up this afternoon and evening. I did so well this morning. But, I crashed this afternoon. It is so hard to keep your head up when you feel lousy. I keep trying to remind myself that it could be so much worse. But, honestly, it's hard sometimes. I have two days off before chemo again, so I know I will start to feel better. Just trying to keep my eyes on the prize!

  1. Praying for you Kelly. All throughout the day...everyday! Your strength through this has been amazing. Remember the days you don't have strength, the Lord has what you need. I know sometimes that's hard to feel when you are feeling bad. I'll pray for the floodgate to open and comfort to fall upon you! I love you so much!

  4. Kelly,
    Spoke to Robyn today and she was updating a couple of us at church. I have been and am praying for you. I'm doing a Beth Moore Bible study and she shared that there were times in her life she prayed a scripture, found it in the Bible, and literally rested her head on it when she slept that night. We are studying how Satan lies to our minds...this might be helpful: 1Corinthians 10:5 "We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ". God loves you Kelly, I'm praying Satan doesn't gain any ground in your thoughts. If we can do anything for you, let us know. Love,Debbie Charlton and family

  5. My dear friend,
    I am praying that God's strength would flood you in this time of weakness and He would be the "lifter of your head." I love you and continue to pray each day.

  6. "He lifted me out of the slimy pit,
    out of the mud and mire;
    he set my feet on a rock
    and gave me a firm place to stand."
    Thought of you when I read Psalms 40:2 this AM. I'm sure you must be feeling like you're in a slimy pit right now BUT....soon you will be on firm ground!! Focus on getting home so your kids can hug you silly!! :-) Love you so much. Keep processing the anger. It is good to get it out. Don't worry....God can take it! Love you so much....praying especially for Ian today.
